Calhoun County Georgia – Clerk of Court

The South Georgia Judicial Circuit is located in the Second Judicial Administrative District and is comprised of five counties – Baker, Calhoun, Decatur, Grady and Mitchell.

There are two judges for the Circuit – Chief Judge A. Wallace Cato whose office is located in Bainbridge, Decatur County, and Presiding Judge J. Kevin Chason, whose office is located in Cairo, Grady County.

The monthly Court Itinerary is issued annually and may be viewed or downloaded.

Civil and criminal hearing day Calendars, as well as civil calendar calls and civil and criminal trial calendars, will be posted and may be viewed or downloaded.

Significant changes have been made in the formalities with which cases involving children and child support are handled. Special attention should be given to those changes.
